TRAINERS

Robert Long

Rick Long is a New York City–based dancer and choreographer with creative homes in Miami and Los Angeles. Trained at the iconic Broadway Dance Center under legends like the late Frank Hatchett and Wade Robson, he specializes in Dancehall, Jazz, and Hip Hop, bringing a dynamic blend of technique and soul to every performance.

Dance is in Rick’s DNA — a true family legacy passed down from generations of dancers. It’s not something he learned; it’s something he is.

He has performed in over 50 major cities worldwide and has danced for and choreographed with artists such as Lisa Lisa, Daddy Yankee, and Trey Songz. Rick doesn’t just perform — he transforms every stage he touches.

Known for his ability to combine strength, mobility, coordination, and conditioning, Gene excels in movement-based performance training. He’s fluent in nearly every modality outside competitive bodybuilding, but his true specialty is developing bodies that move well, feel powerful, and perform at a higher level in everyday life.

Rob Sarno

After a successful career on Wall Street, I discovered my true passion – fitness – when I stumbled upon CrossFit in 2006. I immersed myself in the intensity, the challenge, and the community, even competing in the CrossFit Open, where I ranked in the top 50 out of 5,000 participants worldwide – twice. For over a decade, I’ve coached, trained, and inspired others to push their limits.

However, now that I’ve discovered Creative Fitness NYC, my focus has shifted. I’ve replaced traditional CrossFit training with a more innovative and intentional approach—one built on mobility, stability, and longevity-based movement to enhance the aging process and sustain peak performance for life.

Every movement I teach is calculated, meticulous, and purposeful, designed for growth, resilience, and strength that lasts.

This isn’t just another workout – it’s training for a lifetime. Join me, and let’s redefine what it means to move strong, age well, and live fully.
